In the beautiful city of Bismarck you can tour the uniquely designed capital building and the Heritage Center, ride the Lewis & Clark Riverboat, or attend an outdoor drama or concert at Sleepy Hollow Cultural Arts Park. The shopping malls and many restaurants serve a large trade area.

You can enjoy water sports and fish the abundant waters of Lake Sakakawea - a lake created by the Garrison Dam that has more miles of shoreline than the state of California. Tours of the Garrison Dam powerhouse and the adjoining fish hatchery are also available. Locally you can fish at the McClusky Canal, Hoffer Lake, Brush Lake and New Johns Lake. Swimming and tennis are also available in McClusky.

McClusky is ideally situated for great hunting. Upland game birds and waterfoul abound. As a guest of Midstate Bed & Breakfast you have hunting privileges on over 4000 acres of private farm and grassland. Just next door is the Lonetree Wildlife Management Area - an expanse of 32,000 acres open to hunting, camping, etc. Special rates for hunting parties available.
